Catering Assistant – Taunton

Are you passionate about food, friendly service, and making a difference in children’s lives? Teaching Personnel are looking for a Catering Assistant to join a welcoming school community in the Taunton area. This role is ideal for someone who is caring, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a team.
What you’ll do:
Assist with the preparation and serving of nutritious meals for pupils
Help with setting up and maintaining food counters
Support the catering team during busy lunchtimes
Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment
Occasionally transport meals to other local schools that receive ‘hot box’ meals
About you:

Experienced in catering (preferred but not essential – full training will be provided!)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
