Emergency Frailty Unit (EFU) Co‑ordinator – Within the Care of the Elderly (CotE) Directorate at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB). The closing date is 16 June 2026.
Job Summary
The EFU Co‑ordinator will oversee the EFU assessment area, ensuring the smooth delivery of Grace rapid‑access clinics and prompt in‑patient review. The role includes booking Grace clinics, managing waiting lists, answering telephone queries and coordinating in‑patient referrals to the CotE service, working closely with medical and nursing teams across all ABUHB sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate Grace clinics and manage waiting lists.
* Answer telephone queries and provide patient information.
* Co‑ordinate in‑patient referrals to the CotE service.
* Work in accordance with Welsh Government RTT guidelines.
* Travel across ABUHB sites as required.
Required Skills and Experience
* Strong, methodical, and organised approach to work.
* Excellent communication skills, especially with the general public.
* Proficiency with IT systems – WPAS, CWS, Oracle and knowledge of RTT guidelines.
* Experience working within a clinical or health‑care setting.
Desirable Skills
* Ability to speak Welsh (desired).
* Previous experience in a clinical or health‑care environment.
