About Our Client
My client is a large well known manufacturing organisation who are looking for a full time Junior Buyer based in Redditch.
Job Description
3. Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials required for production operations.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
5. Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to avoid disruptions in supply.
6. Review and evaluate supplier performance to ensure alignment with company standards.
7. Collaborate with other departments to forecast and manage procurement needs effectively.
8. Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective agreements.
9. Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier contracts.
10. Support the overall procurement strategy and contribute to process improvements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Junior Buyer should have:
11. Previous experience working in a manufacturing organisation would be ideal
12. Strong organisational and time-management skills.
13. Previous experience as an Administrator looking to take the next step up
14. An analytical mindset with the ability to assess data and make informed decisions.
15. Excellent communication skills
16. A proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving results.
17. Can commute to Redditch
