A well-established and highly respected GP training practice in Felixstowe is seeking an experienced and motivated Paramedic Practitioner to join its multidisciplinary clinical team in a dedicated home-visiting role.

About the Practice
The practice is a recognised GP training practice with a strong reputation for quality patient care and education. It provides training to GP registrars, medical students, and allied health professionals, fostering a collaborative and progressive working environment.
The clinical team includes experienced GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, and Healthcare Assistants, supported by an efficient administrative team. Staff wellbeing, professional growth, and work-life balance are actively prioritised.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
Undertake urgent and same-day home visits
Assess, diagnose, and manage patients within their own homes
Manage acute presentations and support patients with long-term conditions
Work autonomously within their scope of practice
Support admission avoidance and community-based care pathways
Liaise effectively with GPs, community teams, and secondary care providers
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records (EMIS or equivalent)
The role offers a high degree of clinical autonomy with accessible GP support when required.
Candidate Requirements
HCPC-registered Paramedic
Experience in primary care, urgent care, or community settings desirable
Independent Prescriber qualification desirable (support may be available)
Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Full UK driving licence
