As the Health, Safety, and Environment Technician you will be working for a food manufacturer who supply innovative food products to UK retailers.
This is an exciting opportunity; our client is looking for someone to grow with the business.
If you have a year in industry or previous experience of working within a food manufacturing site, then this role could be for you. You will spend a lot of time in the factory so need to be comfortable in that environment.
You will be involved in collating the information required and with other projects as well. There are some interesting projects you will get to be involved in, that will involve areas such as sustainability.

Our client is currently looking to implement a new software package for H&S to ensure all the data is in one place and easily accessible. This is your chance to get involved when exciting projects are happening and be here at the start of this one.
This is a Monday to Friday days-based role.
You will be:
1. Handling documentation and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
2. Recording any health, safety, and environmental queries or concerns
3. Working closely with other departments you will ensure that HSE is a high priority
4. Supporting in the delivery of projects
5. Assisting in conducting monthly audits
6. Managing the administration of HSE databases
7. Assisting with the implementation of the Health & Safety software
The ideal professional will have:
8. Previous experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
9. Good IT and strong communication skills
10. Planning and problem-solving skills with an ability to identify alternative ways of achieving goals
11. A NEBOSH General Certificate or IEMA Certificate desirable or working towards
