PMA Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established and growing joinery and interior fit-out contractor based in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and reputable company delivering high-quality commercial, retail, and refurbishment projects across Scotland.
The Role:
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple joinery and fit-out projects from pre-construction through to final account.
Key duties include:
* Preparing cost plans, budgets, and tender reviews
* Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
* Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Monitoring project costs and ensuring profitability
* Supporting project managers with commercial decision-making
* Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within joinery, fit-out, or interiors
* Strong commercial and financial management skills
* Experience managing subcontractors and variations
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (preferred)
