Software QA Engineer
6 Month Contract
SW London / Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite
437.50 Per Day (Inside IR35)
A leading global technology company is seeking an experienced Software QA Engineer to join their innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about quality, performance, and reliability, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Champion quality and best practice across teams and projects.
* Develop and execute detailed test plans and validation procedures.
* Collaborate with developers and analysts to identify and resolve issues.
* Configure and manage test tools, troubleshoot bugs, and support release processes.
* Produce clear testing documentation and provide end-user training when required.
* Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
Key Skills & Experience
* 5+ years' experience in QA or software support.
* Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
* Experience with automated testing (JavaScript/TypeScript), Playwright, and source control tools.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* ISTQB certification, performance testing, and client support experience are advantageous.
