We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer for an experienced CNC Programmer to join their team on a permanent basis.This is a great opportunity for a skilled programmer looking for long-term stability and excellent working hours, including an early finish on Fridays.
Hours of Work:
1. Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
2. Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
3. Programming CNC machines from engineering drawings
4. Working primarily with Mazak machines, preferably using Mazatrol controls
5. Editing, proving, and optimising programs to improve efficiency
6. Setting and operating machines as required
7. Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances
8. Carrying out self-inspection and ensuring quality standards are met
9. Supporting continuous improvement within the machining department
Requirements:
10. Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a precision engineering environment
11. Strong experience with Mazak / Mazatrol programming (highly desirable)
12. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
13. Good understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and materials
14. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
15. Able to work independently and as part of a team
