Supply Chain Manager
FLSA Type: Full-time, exempt (salaried) position. This position is eligible for a bonus based on performance. It will be a hybrid role, combining in-office and remote work.
Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager oversees the flow of goods, equipment, and inventory within the organization, ensuring efficiency from procurement to installation. Responsibilities include strategic planning, managing supplier and vendor relationships, optimizing inventory, and analyzing data to improve processes and reduce costs. The role demands a strong problem-solving ability, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills to manage a network of suppliers and distributors.

1. Inventory Management
2. Collaborate with departments and stakeholders to identify resource needs for an effective supply chain
3. Maintain optimal supply and materials levels to support production
4. Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of inventory
5. Implement and maintain integrated tracking systems with Salesforce and NetSuite
6. Work with department managers and finance to ensure efficient inventory tracking
7. Manage procurement of vehicles and negotiate for best value
8. Implement a perpetual inventory management system
9. Supervise monthly inventory counts at each location
1. Vendor Relationships
2. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and distributors for timely deliveries
3. Negotiate prices to maximize profits without compromising safety or quality
4. Identify and qualify new suppliers
5. Monitor supplier performance regarding quality and delivery
6. Develop and implement vendor management scorecards
7. Support the company's supply chain finance program by securing vendor participation
1. Perform additional tasks as required.
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, focusing on supply chain management
* MBA preferred
* Minimum of 10 years of total experience, including 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role
* Relevant certifications such as Certified Purchasing Professional, Certified Supply Chain Professional, Certified in Production and Inventory Management, or Certificate in Materials Management
* Proficient in computer skills and software such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and supply chain management tools
* Knowledge of logistics, transportation, and market dynamics
* Excellent communication skills, active listening, and attention to detail
* Ability to troubleshoot and design new processes
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role is currently individual contributor but may evolve into a supervisory position overseeing a small team as the company scales.
Work Environment:
* Primarily based in an open office setting, with occasional outdoor work
* Potentially based in a warehouse environment
* Hybrid work model: on-site at headquarters on Tuesdays and Fridays; remote work requires a distraction-free workspace
Physical Demands:
* Sitting for extended periods, performing computer tasks, and moving within the office
* Travel may be required using a personal vehicle
Compensation:
* Range of $130,000-$160,000, including base salary and quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Final compensation depends on experience and aptitude.
