Senior Process Technologist
Tottle Bakery & Riverside Bakery (Nottingham) – Fully Onsite

Are you an experienced Process Technologist ready to take the next step in your career, with greater ownership and the opportunity to lead projects end-to-end?
At The Compleat Food Group, we’re looking for a Senior Process Technologist to support both our Tottle Bakery and Riverside Bakery sites, playing a key role in bringing new and improved products to life.
The Role
This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where you’ll take ownership of the full product journey—from concept approval through to successful factory launch.
Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you’ll lead factory trials, solve production challenges, and ensure products are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead factory trials from planning through to execution and evaluation
* Take ownership of product launches, ensuring smooth handover to production
* Work on both NPD (new products) and EPD (existing product improvements)
* Collaborate with technical, production, NPD teams, and suppliers
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the factory environment
* Ensure all documentation and specifications meet audit and compliance standards
* Drive continuous improvement across quality, efficiency, and cost
* Support and influence cross‑site projects across both bakeries
About You
* Experience in a food manufacturing environment (ideally bakery or chilled)
* Strong understanding of factory processes and trials
* Confident leading projects and working cross-functionally
* Highly organised with strong problem‑solving skills
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
* Passionate about delivering high‑quality food products
