Salary: £49,500 circa dependant on skills & experience

This role is about learning, adapting, and reshaping how we work—spotting opportunities in data, envisioning smarter ways of operating, and crafting persuasive business cases that turn ideas into action.
The Role
You’lllead the development of business cases that drive system optimisation, smart water solutions, and innovation initiatives. By combining technical insight with creative thinking,you’llhelp us learn, evolve, and embed smarter ways of working—ensuring our proposals are strategically aligned, financially robust, and deliver real value for our customers, our business, and the environment.
Your work will be pivotal in reshaping how weoperateand fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop high-quality business cases for innovation and system improvement initiatives.
2. Use creativity and technical insight to frame problems, explore options, and articulate value.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to support adoption and delivery of smart water solutions.
4. Create templates, case studies, and guidance to strengthen our exploitation approach.
5. Continuously refine business case methods and share best practice.
WhatWe’reLooking For
6. Degree-level education or equivalent technical experience.
7. A genuine passion for driving positivechange.
8. Strong technical understanding of operational or water systems.
9. Creative thinker with the ability to transform data and ideas into persuasive business cases.
10. Strong analytical, communication (including written),and presentation skills.
11. Experience in financial modelling, risk assessment, or governance
