About Our Client
Our client manufactures advanced medical devices that improve patient care.
Job Description
* Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
* Prepare supporting documentation for annual audits to be submitted to external auditors and shareholders.
* Oversee daily accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll management, and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
* Prepare VAT Returns, R&D credits, and other accounting activities.
* Monitor company budgets and manage cash-flow forecasts.
* Support the CEO in HR activities, including employee benefits management.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will thrive in a standalone role and demonstrate initiative and drive to enhance processes. This opportunity is suitable for a newly qualified accountant or an experienced professional qualified by experience. Proven experience in the key responsibilities is essential. Experience with Quickbooks is beneficial but not essential.
