Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
gap personnel Exeter is recruiting for a Workshop Operative to join a well-established business near Exeter Airport. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of stock from Goods In through to production, picking, and despatch.
Key Responsibilities
* Working from works orders and drawings, ensuring production deadlines are met.
* Picking and packing items on the stores production line, ready for shipping.
* Monitoring stock levels and assisting with replenishment.
* Ensuring proper preservation of products from receipt to despatch.
* Maintaining a clean and safe workspace, following HSE and quality policies.
* Supporting lean activities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
* Ensuring company resources and assets are used effectively.
