Sign-on Bonus: For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 for eligible experienced Registered Nurses with 1-2 years of experience and $20,000 for those with more than 2 years of experience!
* Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part-time RN position. Bonus amount is prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.

Unit Overview: P2C is a fast-paced 18-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit providing care to a diverse adult patient population, including neurological, vascular, and stroke patients. Recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center by the Joint Commission, P2C offers telemetry monitoring for both surgical and medical patients. We seek individuals committed to outstanding patient care, innovation, and positivity to join our team.

Position Details: This is a full-time day shift position, consisting of three 12-hour shifts.
Position Summary: The Clinical Nurse supports Maine Medical Center's mission and values through excellence, competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, patient and family-centered care, community commitment, and accountability. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of nursing care, beginning from initial contact and continuing across care settings.
Minimum Requirements:
* Education: BSN preferred; must enroll in a BSN program within one year of hire and complete within five years. Evidence of 10 hours of ongoing education annually.
* Licenses/Certifications: Current Maine RN license; relevant specialty certification preferred.
* Experience: At least 1 year of RN work experience.
* Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and processes.
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
* Analytical skills to monitor patient conditions and initiate appropriate actions.
* Ability to recognize potential crises and respond accordingly.
* Demonstrates caring nursing practice and promotes healing environments.
* Technical skills to care for various patient populations on the unit.
