Overview
We’re excited to recruiting for a Junior Systems Analyst to join our Business Systems team based from our offices on Garden Street in Sheffield.
This is a temporary assignment set to start the 6th Sept working 3 days per week for an initial period of 3 months.
Reporting to the Systems Manager the role offers an agile approach where, once established in the role, you’d be expected to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week, due to the nature of the role one of your working days must be a Friday.
Responsibilities
* Provide internal systems support, encouraging the optimisation of the organisation's core business system, Yardi, by improving efficiency and productivity.
* Liaise with colleagues across the business where you will be responsible for investigating current systems, identifying organisational and operational issues, and developing innovative system solutions on our main system, Yardi.
* You will also be involved with processing starters and leavers, updating user access rights and permissions, and supporting bespoke project delivery.
* Support central service colleagues, as well as colleagues based within our student accommodation and residential sites throughout the UK and Ireland.
* Work in an agile environment, with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week (one day must be a Friday).
Qualifications
* We’re looking for a self-starter with creative thinking skills to develop new and innovative solutions.
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders and clearly verbalise ideas and solutions.
* Strong technical and analytical skills with experience manipulating high volumes of data and strong attention to detail.
* Ideally, working knowledge of SQL, C++ or Java.
