Key responsibilitiesAs a Financial Accountant, you will:
* Prepare monthly and year-end accounts and balance sheet reports
* Submit and manage VAT returns, reducing irrecoverable costs
* Lead and support the Accounts Receivable team
* Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and internal controls
What we're looking forMust-have:
* CCAB-qualified accountant
* Degree in a finance-related subject
* Experience in financial reporting and VAT compliance
* Strong communicator with team leadership ability
Nice to have:
* Familiarity with Unit 4 (Agresso) finance systems
* Previous public sector or education sector experience
* Knowledge of payroll or cash-flow reporting
