Job Description
This Vacation Scheme gives aspiring solicitors the chance to experience life inside a leading London law firm. You will gain hands-on exposure to client work, legal teams, and the firm’s culture — while developing the skills needed to succeed as a future Trainee.
Participants in this scheme are considered first for upcoming Training Contract offers — it is the primary route into the firm.
Key Criteria for Screening
To be considered, applicants must:
✓ Be eligible to start a Training Contract in the UK in future years
✓ Be available for all days of their selected scheme week
✓ Demonstrate high academic achievement (degree or law conversion underway)
✓ Show motivation for commercial legal practice in London
✓ Have the right to work or future eligibility for the UK legal pathway
Dates & Availability
You must be available for one full week on either:
• Monday 22 June – Friday 26 June 2026
• Monday 6 July – Friday 10 July 2026
Applicants may apply to either Spring or Summer, not both.

What to Expect
During your week you will:
• Work directly with lawyers on real client matters
• Attend workshops, case studies and skills sessions
• Shadow Trainees to understand their day-to-day role
• Learn about core practice areas in a major commercial firm
• Take part in networking opportunities with senior lawyers and recent joiners
Your performance and engagement throughout the scheme will contribute towards consideration for a future Training Contract.

Salary & Support
A competitive compensation package is provided for all future Trainees progressing from the scheme — currently equivalent to £40,000 annual starting salary.
