International Search & Selection | Medical Devices
Do you have a background in medical device sales? Are you excited by the thought of joining a global, family-owned company? If so, this might a great opportunity for you!
Our client is seeking a driven Key Account Manager to become a part of their dynamic team and play a key role in supporting their ambitious growth strategy.
A bit about the company and what they can offer you
A family-owned business selling surgical systems and solutions across the globe. That's the unique proposition our clients offer; a huge company that still has that family-run feel is hard to find.
They pride themselves on being an employer of choice, and they strive to achieve this every day. Their culture is all about honesty, integrity, and taking risks without the fear of consequences. Be open and transparent and enjoy your work, and you will fit in well here!
Their aim is simple. Ensure that physicians have the best tools in their hand to treat their patient as effectively as possible. Join them on their mission and you will be treated to great bonus schemes and a company that protects your work-life balance.
What you’ll be doing
As Key Account Manager, you will join a strong team of other Account Managers and strive to achieve ambitious sales targets, whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Your day to day might look a little like this:
• Consistently achieve (and exceed!) quarterly and annual sales quotas
• Developing and maintaining key relationships in your territory, ensuring high levels of engagement
• Carrying out product demonstrations and samples to a range of different customers on a weekly basis
• Producing accurate sales forecasts in a timely manner, communicating your findings to the relevant internal sales and management teams
• Ensuring timely management of CRM opportunities, making sure you keep accounts up to date
A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in Scotland and able to travel around this territory 4 days of the week.
You’ll have at least 2 years’ experience working within medical device sales, ideally with surgical products.
A few other key skills we are looking for:
• A growth mindset. Our client needs people with the same mindset that are ready to join them in their ambitious growth plans
• A strong knowledge of human anatomy, surgical and GI procedures, and a willingness to continue learning more to become an industry expert
• Working knowledge of the sales process, and how you can accelerate customer buying cycles
• Presentation, communication, sales, and negotiation skills are crucial to success in this role
• Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment, as well as confident to work alone when necessary
