Vehicle Mechanic (Multiple Positions) Location: UK (Exact location shared at interview stage) Salary: £22.03 per hour (£45,000 per annum) Overtime About the Role We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Vehicle Mechanics to join a well-established, high-quality automotive service environment. This is an excellent opportunity for time-served professionals who are passionate about diagnostics, repairs, and delivering exceptional workmanship. Experience working with premium automotive brands—particularly JLR (Jaguar Land Rover)—would be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles Perform major mechanical repairs and overhauls Diagnose complex faults accurately using advanced diagnostic tools Demonstrate strong knowledge of CANBUS and FlexRay systems Use diagnostic equipment such as PicoScope effectively Support and mentor junior or less experienced technicians Communicate clearly with management regarding workload and technical issues Take ownership of ongoing jobs or step into projects as required Candidate Requirements Fully qualified, time-served mechanic Proven experience in a professional garage or service centre Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Experience with modern vehicle electrical systems (CANBUS, FlexRay) Familiarity with advanced diagnostic tools (e.g. PicoScope) Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Working Hours Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm Overtime available: Saturdays paid at £25 per hour Additional evening overtime often available Interview Process One-stage interview process Interviews approximately 30 minutes in duration Flexible interview scheduling throughout the week Quick turnaround from application to interview Sponsorship & Eligibility Long-term opportunity with initial 2-year sponsorship Extension available upon completion Candidates requiring sponsorship must meet English language requirements (minimum IELTS 5.5 in each category) Apply now!
