About Unyoked
Unyoked is an outdoor lifestyle company that's created a new category in travel: nature, on-demand. Through our network of off-grid cabins in beautiful wilderness locations, we make it easy for people to step out of the city and reconnect with nature — whenever they need it.
Spending time outdoors helps us reset. It lowers stress, improves focus, boosts creativity, and helps us feel more connected to the world around us. Unyoked exists to make those benefits accessible more often — so nature becomes something you use regularly, like the gym.
The cabins came second; nature came first. Everything we do is about helping people build a lasting relationship with the outdoors and develop a genuine nature habit.
Our cabins sit in wild, carefully chosen locations, all within a few hours of major cities. They give our community the chance to step away when they need it most — whether that's to recharge after a demanding week, find creative focus, or simply get some perspective.
We're building something meaningful: a community that values time outdoors and a business that helps people reconnect with nature while protecting it. That philosophy shapes everything we do — from how we design our cabins and choose our locations to how we work with our land partners and welcome our guests.

About the Role
The Deployment Operations Lead will oversee the delivery of Unyoked's UK cabin rollout while ensuring our existing fleet continues to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The role is responsible for seamless cabin deployments, effective repairs and maintenance management, strong land partner relationships, and the continual improvement of operational processes and the physical guest experience.
You will build and manage a dedicated cabin installation team of contractors, delivering all deployments on time and within budget. You will also take ownership of the rollout and ongoing operational management of our largest land partnership, working closely with the Operations team to ensure smooth on-site delivery — particularly as these sites require more hands-on management than private landowner locations.
You will take ownership of coordinating the repairs and maintenance programme across the cabin fleet, scheduling planned works and responding quickly to issues as they arise. This role requires working with a wide range of stakeholders — including estate managers, farmers, contractors, and cabin managers — to resolve issues efficiently and maintain strong working relationships.
Given the close link between installations and ongoing maintenance, you will also play a key role in improving the physical cabin experience, identifying opportunities to enhance it and leading the sourcing and implementation of new features.
Key Responsibilities:
Deployment & Project Management
* Lead the rollout of new cabins across our portfolio of land partners.
* Manage the full deployment process from site certification (planning) to cabin go-live.
* Build, contract, and manage a dedicated cabin install team.
* Create and manage detailed deployment schedules, budgets, and reporting.
* Deliver all cabin installs on time and within budget.
* Coordinate procurement, inventory preparation, logistics, and on-site works.
* Oversee the cabin install process, ensuring installations meet Unyoked quality standards.
* Manage contractors and tradespeople during deployment works.
* Develop and refine scalable deployment processes to meet growth targets.
* Work with the Ops team to ensure smooth and compliant site operations.
Operations & Maintenance
* Take ownership of the ongoing maintenance of all UK cabins.
* Schedule and deliver regular 6-monthly preventative maintenance checks.
* Coordinate reactive repairs and unplanned maintenance, ensuring minimal guest disruption.
* Manage and track R&M budgets, driving cost efficiencies without compromising quality of experience.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance works and schedules.
* Build and maintain a troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge base to support CE and Operations in resolving guest and host issues, enabling faster and more efficient resolutions with trades in the future.
* Liaise with land partners to ensure upkeep of access roads, utilities, and shared infrastructure.
* Work with external partners to monitor and manage the Victron/VRM solar power systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Guest Experience
* Ensure all cabins consistently meet or exceed guest experience benchmarks through managing deployments, maintenance and repairs.
* Work with the Operations team to address and resolve guest-reported issues quickly.
* Identify and implement operational and physical improvements that enhance the guest experience.
Host & Stakeholder Relations
* Maintain strong, positive relationships with all hosts and cabin managers.
* Act as the primary operational contact for hosts and CMs during deployment and maintenance phases.
* Work with the Sales team to assess site feasibility from a site preparation and installation perspective during the sales process.
Process Development & Continuous Improvement
* Develop and improve systems to streamline deployment, maintenance, and operations workflows.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bridge sales and operations processes.
* Identify and implement innovations to improve efficiency and quality.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in project management, ideally in construction, hospitality, large-scale events or glamping sectors.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
* Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
* Practical and hands-on by nature — whether through experience in maintenance, construction, site setup, or even just enjoying tackling your own home renovation projects.
* Strong budget management and cost control skills.
* Ability to problem-solve under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
* Confident in managing contractors, tradespeople, and multi-site projects.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* UK driving licence and willingness to travel is a must.
