We're looking for a passionate, driven, and hands-on Assistant Manager to join the team at Baked in Brick, an award-winning independent pizza restaurant known for authentic wood-fired pizza, great service, and a vibrant atmosphere in the heart of Digbeth.

About the Role
As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager and owners to help lead the team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You'll be a key part of maintaining our high standards and positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the management team with daily restaurant operations
* Leading shifts and motivating the front-of-house team
* Delivering outstanding customer service and resolving issues professionally
* Assisting with staff training, development, and performance
* Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
* Managing bookings, service flow, and busy periods
* Supporting stock control, ordering, and cost management
* Helping drive sales and creating a great guest experience
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in hospitality
* A passion for food, drink, and great service
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to stay calm under pressure and lead by example
* A proactive, positive, and flexible attitude
* Organised, reliable, and detail-oriented
* Availability to work evenings and weekends
