What You'll Be Doing:
* Developing, specifying, and writing comprehensive test cases for ANSYS CFD software, ensuring thorough coverage of product requirements.
* Creating, modifying, and updating existing tests, and writing and maintaining test scripts for both manual and automated testing environments.
* Executing functional, application, regression, and performance testing to validate software quality and reliability.
* Investigating and analyzing potential causes of problems, collaborating with technical specialists to resolve product issues.
* Creating detailed test plans and participating actively in defect management and testing metrics tracking.
* Applying standard techniques and procedures in compliance with Synopsys’ development and testing processes, maintaining high standards of quality.
* Working across a variety of computing environments, including Windows, Linux, and high‑performance computing platforms.
* Assisting with validation and verification studies, contributing to continuous improvement of the software.

What You’ll Need:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering (or related field) with 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with no experience required.
* Solid understanding of numerical methods and algorithms commonly used in CFD.
* Experience using CFD software to solve engineering problems.
* Proficiency in software testing and verification, preferably in a large‑scale commercial environment.
* Strong computing skills, including experience with scripting languages such as Python, and familiarity with both Windows and Linux platforms.
