Registered Veterinary Nurse – Out of Hours | Bury, Greater Manchester
Full-Time | One Week Nights On, Two Weeks Off | Permanent
Do you thrive on the excitement of Out of Hours work and making a real difference when patients need you most? If so, this is an incredible opportunity to join a supportive and experienced OOH team at a well-equipped, RCVS-accredited small animal hospital in Bury.
The Role
You’ll work one week of nights on, two weeks off, with 11.5-hour shifts Monday to Monday. Occasional overtime is available for those who want it. You’ll be part of a close-knit team managing a wide range of emergencies and inpatient care, providing critical support when it matters most.
About the Hospital
This two-site practice, with a 24-hour A&E hospital in Bury, has a diverse, fast-paced caseload and a fully equipped facility including:
* Digital x-ray
* Ultrasound
* In-house laboratory
You’ll join a talented team of:
* 14 Vets
* 20 Nurses, Student Nurses, and ACAs
* 13 support staff
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated RVN with a passion for emergency and inpatient care. Critical care experience is advantageous. The ideal candidate:
* Is confident working nights independently
* Has excellent communication and organisational skills
* Can manage multiple emergencies under pressure
