Grade D - £45,091 – £51,356
Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review
Working 36.5 hours per week
School and Governor Support are seeking to recruit an Assistant Governor Services Manager, who is committed to the role of school governors as valued key stakeholders.
You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective advice, guidance and support necessary to ensure Birmingham School Governors are able to fulfil statutory requirements regarding school governance, maximising good practice.
This includes providing advice, development and training for governors and clerks from nurseries, primary, secondary, special schools, academies and centres across the city. You will undertake special project work as required.
You will have the ability to communicate and engage effectively at all levels with internal and external agencies, and work on your own initiative with a proactive approach to ensure service delivery.
You will ensure that governors, clerks and Head Teachers across all phases of education receive decisive responses to their requests and you will build strong working relationships with subscribing schools.
