Role Overview
Executive Business Manager – South East London.
Salary: Highly competitive, based on experience with the opportunity for performance‑related pay incentive.
Working pattern: Full‑time with possible flexibility.

Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate strategic operations across two schools initially, with a view to extending oversight to all four within the first year.
* Offer trusted financial and operational advice to each Principal to develop the unique strengths of each school.
* Manage a multi‑disciplinary team covering Finance, HR, IT, Facilities, Marketing and Governance.
* Collaborate closely with cluster leaders and United Learning central teams to ensure sustainability, efficiency and effective ways of working.
* Negotiate and influence at Senior Leadership, Local Governing Body and Executive Board levels.
* Promote and model United Learning values and the Framework for Excellence, celebrating the distinct culture and ethos of each school.
* Maintain and develop relationships with United Learning central teams to ensure timely, professional support.
* Uphold safeguarding and promote the welfare of staff, children and young people.
Qualifications
* Proven experience leading and coordinating executive support services and financial management in schools or similarly complex environments.
* Familiarity with strategic planning, decision‑making, professional relationship management, and resource efficiency.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills at senior leadership, governing body and executive board levels.
* Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing teams and manage relationships.
* Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of staff, children and young people.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
