We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience within manufacturing and maintenance environments, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems.
Key responsibilities include:
* Taking ownership of improvement activities and supporting site-wide projects.
* Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to plan and prioritize daily activities.
* Maintaining accurate records within the site maintenance system.
* Evaluating spare part requirements and identifying potential suppliers.
* Delivering fast and effective fault finding, root cause analysis, and preventative solutions.
Requirements:
* A time-served fully indentured modern apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
* BTEC/HNC/HND/NVQ level 3 – Engineering Qualification.
* Relevant qualifications in electrical and PLC fault finding.
Desirable qualifications include:
* HND/Foundation Degree in Engineering.
* Relevant IOSH Safety Training.
* PLC fault finding – Siemens S7 advantageous.
* 17th Edition IET wiring Regulations.
Experience:
* SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE within manufacturing & maintenance environment.
* Good hands-on knowledge of electronic, electrical and PLC control systems.
* Experience with pneumatic systems; air rams, solenoids and pressure sensors.
* Knowledge of ATEX rated areas an advantage.
