Do you have Clinical coding experience? We are looking for a Clinical Coder to join our bank team, providing a full range of administrative support to assist the day-to-day running of our services. You will need a flexible approach with attention to detail to work as part of a busy team.

Salary: £13.39 per hour
Location: Primary Care Hub, Sefton
Shifts
* Monday to Friday
* Various shifts: 08:00-13:30, 13:30-18:30, 09:00-14:30
Responsibilities
1. Summarise and read code relevant information from patients' clinical records and hospital correspondence into EMIS Web.
2. Follow strict practice protocols, policies, and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality of all information.
3. Process all correspondence received, in both digital and paper formats, accurately and efficiently.
4. Undertake clinical documentation reading and assist in workflow optimization.
5. Manage new patient registration.
6. Support the clinical team with processing referrals using the electronic referral system.
7. Assist clinical staff with administrative duties as requested.
8. Liaise with external agencies such as hospitals and community services to ensure referrals are processed efficiently.
