Role: Event Manager (Sales)
Location: London (HQ-based with some on-site event work)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + BONUS + Generous Overtime Pay
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September/October 2025
We are now seeking an experienced Event Manager (Sales) to join our dynamic team. This busy and exciting role will span event management, account management, lead generation, and client retention, with a strong focus on high-value clients across the creative, corporate, and private sectors. We are seeking individuals with a background in event catering sales, who are passionate about food & events, and looking for a new challenge!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage and develop relationships with both venues and clients
* Create bespoke client proposals
* Attend tastings, site visits and client meetings
* Carry out all commercial and operational planning for each event, including booking staff and equipment
* Create full event sheets for each event
* Comprehensively brief freelance and full-time staff for events
* Assume full responsibility for the event on site, including managing the event, catering/plating, and staff when required
* Prepare invoices and chase payment where required
EXPERIENCE:
* 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within a catering or events company
* Confident, self-motivated, and professional
* Experience with Weddings is preferred
* Excellent communication skills
* Personal licence holder preferred
* Comfortable working simultaneously across a high volume of bookings and events.
* Experience using CRM platforms
* Proven track record of working well under pressure
* High attention to detail and extremely organised
* Ability to build and maintain client relationships
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm will be your general office hours, although you will be expected to work events outside of these hours and occasionally on the weekend e.g. weddings.
