Our client is an established multi-disciplinary design consultancy based in Winchester, looking for a Structural Engineer to join them immediately on a contract basis (outside IR35) to help them deliver an excess workload.
With several offices across the South of England, the office in Winchester is currently enjoying a burgeoning workload, with further signs of a growing pipeline – the appointment of a contract Structural Engineer is key for them to ensure continuity in delivering their projects.
Their portfolio for this position will cover across residential, mixed use, commercial, education, healthcare and retail. As well as localised projects, there will also be scope to work on construction projects throughout the UK with remote and site attendance.

What You Need To Succeed
* Ability to work autonomously as a Structural Engineer.
* Experience designing with concrete, steel, timber and masonry – to Eurocode.
* Ability to deliver projects through to completion, and work within a multidisciplinary consultancy.
* Confident communicator, able to explain engineering concepts clearly and simply to a range of stakeholders.
* Able to prepare drawings and models in 3D ideally using Tekla.
* Chartered with IStructE or ICE (preferred but not essential).
* MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
