Education Health and Care (EHC) Coordinator
Location: Hybrid - Council Office & Across The Borough
Salary: £31,283 - £37,181 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? We are looking for dedicated and experienced EHC Coordinators to join our client's SEND and Inclusion Service.
In this hybrid role, you will work across the borough, ensuring high-quality Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for young people aged 0-25.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage EHCP processes including maintenance, reviews, and amendments, while ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines.
* Collaborate with families, schools, health and social care professionals to tailor EHCPs to individual needs.
* Ensure EHCPs align with the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice (2015).
* Act as a key contact for families, offering guidance and maintaining a transparent and fair process.
* Maintain accurate records, track progress, and identify areas for service improvement.
Requirements:
* Experience working with EHCPs, including pre or post-14 education.
* Strong understanding of SEND legislation and processes.
* Ability to build strong working relationships with families, education providers, and professionals.
