We're looking for someone who can make a real difference to our students. You'll be someone who: Communicates clearly and genuinely with students and colleagues Provides understanding, support, and outstanding customer service, especially in a pastoral care role Is confident using computers and can write clear, accurate reports Can plan and prioritise when things get busy or conflicting demands arise Holds a valid UK driving licence for manual vehicles Stays calm and effective when dealing with challenging situations Enjoys working as part of a team to solve problems together Full details, including shift patterns, are in the job description below. Further information The position covers the main University campus and City campus buildings off site. The basic working week is of 38.5 hours which includes 36.5 hours 2 hours contracted overtime; these hours will be worked on a rotating shift basis cover 24/7 365 days of the year and attracts 15% shift allowance; at times during staff shortages you will be required to work with other Campus teams and cover different shifts. The appointment will be made subject to a Basic Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check being obtained. Campus Services New Starter bonus *. In addition to the great benefits Campus Services' offers, this role is eligible for a £1,000 bonus. This is payable the month after successfully passing your six months' probation. Please note this bonus is pro rata for part time and FTC positions. This role is also eligible for the Campus Services Refer a Friend bonus*.
