Overview
Main Purposes and Scope of Job: Create and manage the weekly production schedule.
Responsibilities
* Monitor production progress and revise schedules to accommodate changes in demand, supply delays or equipment downtime.
* Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of ingredients.
* Work closely with the Production Managers to optimise and improve weekly schedule to support customer requirements.
* Liaise daily with internal departments.
* Ensure high customer service levels are maintained.
* Ensure stock list is up to date.
* Conduct continuous improvement.
Skills / Qualifications
* Familiarity with capacity planning and scheduling
* Accuracy, attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
* Good excel skills Knowledge of SAP desirable but not essential
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised with the ability to priority tasks
* Ability to manage deadlines
* Previous experience of production planning
* Good understanding of food manufacturing process
