Are you ready to take ownership of exciting engineering projects in the food & beverage, pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors?
Our client is a well established consulting engineering business based in North Rocks servicing the Food and Beverage, pharma, and FMCG industries.
They are looking for motivated Project Engineers to join their team and help deliver innovative mechanical and structural solutions across leading production facilities.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a confident, capable engineer who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys working both on-site and in the office. You've got proven experience in industrial or manufacturing settings, a strong grasp of mechanical systems, and the ability to manage projects with minimal supervision.
We are also on the hunt for someone who's practical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. You might be a qualified tradesperson with industrial experience or an engineering student ready to apply your knowledge in the field.
If you've got 2-5 years of experience on manufacturing sites, a knack for problem-solving, and solid AutoCAD skill, we want to hear from you!
* Trade qualification, Completed Mechanical or Structural Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent industrial experience
* Currently enrolled in or completed Mechanical or Structural Engineering degree/diploma
* NSW C Driver's License (minimum)
* First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Experience with AutoCAD (required) and Inventor (desirable)
* Ability to read and create engineering drawings
* Basic engineering calculations and problem-solving
* Computer literacy (MS Office, CAD software, MS Project
* Knowledge of Australian Standards AS1418, AS4100, AS1657 (preferred)

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the role will include but will not be limited to:
* Conduct site visits to assess conditions, take measurements, and oversee installations
* Coordinate with contractors and site teams to ensure safe, compliant execution
* Prepare layout drawings, equipment designs, and technical documentation using AutoCAD/Inventor
* Develop scopes of work, feasibility reports, and project timelines
* Maintain accurate records, safety documentation, and electronic project files
* Ensure contractor inductions, insurance, and safety compliance are in place
* Track time for billing and adhere to WHS and company policies
* Prepare technical documentation, scopes of work, and feasibility reports
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery
* Maintain safety standards and documentation to keep everyone protected
