Responsibilities: Here's what your journey with us entails:
* Inspects, diagnoses and repairs
mechanical, hydraulic or electrical defects/failures in various golf course
maintenance equipment including, diesel-, electric- and gasoline-powered
machines, mowers, rollers, tractors, small 2-stroke machines and other mechanical
equipment used in utility work.
* Works as part of the department
leadership team, in the training of equipment operators regarding preventive
maintenance, and the proper cleaning of, and respectful operation of equipment.
* Maintains a preventive maintenance
program within budget on all equipment and accurately purchases repair parts
and replacement supplies.
* Keeps complete records for equipment
and parts inventory purchases, stock levels, equipment condition, costs of
repairs and preventive maintenance for all equipment.
* Spot checks equipment for performance
on the course, makes emergency repairs to equipment on the course, and services
equipment prior to use.
* When needed, performs other duties as
directed by the Golf Course Manager or Deputy Golf Course Manager
* To be involved in the recommendation
of equipment replacement purchases.

* Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
* Complete safety training and certifications.
* Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
* Communicate with others using clear and professional language.

* Support the team to reach common goals.
* Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
* Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

What we're looking for
* Qualifications in welding and chainsaw maintenance
* Mechanical experience required (preferably 2 years)
* Possession of valid driving license
* Positive outlook and team player
