As a sales progressor, you will be responsible for the progression of all new build sales promptly and efficiently from reservation to completion, liaising with customers, IFA’s, lenders, and solicitors.
You will handle all administration and documentation related to private sales, including preparing confirmation of sale details if needed, ensuring all files and the sales database are up to date, and processing documentation in accordance with policies and procedures within set time scales for auditing purposes.
Additionally, you will coordinate with management companies during the handover process for each development, working closely with the Sales and Marketing Director.
Sales Negotiations and Progress
1. Liaise with local agents and authorities, providing feedback and building relationships.
2. Manage all administration and documentation for private sales, ensuring timely updates and compliance with policies for auditing.
3. Communicate with customers, solicitors, IFA’s, and lenders; monitor each sale to meet exchange and completion deadlines; hand over to Sales Consultants upon contract exchange.
4. Ensure all practices comply with relevant legislation, including the Property Misdescriptions Act 1991, Estate Agency Act 1979, Financial Services Act 2004, data protection policies, and Consumer Code.
5. Prepare weekly sales progression reports to track performance, ensure standards are met, and facilitate weekly meetings with Sales Managers.
Presentation
Present a positive image of CALA Homes through all interactions with purchasers and provide excellent service, encouraging customer feedback for continuous improvement.
Communication
* Develop effective relationships with solicitors, IFA’s, and the Sales Team.
* Coordinate with departments to keep customers informed of their purchase progress.
* Conduct regular sales meetings to discuss progress and concerns.
* Participate in regional build and sales meetings; organize legal setup meetings with Cala's solicitors and complete checklists.
* Keep stakeholders informed of key departmental updates.
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience in conveyancing, preferably through working in a solicitor’s office or estate agency, with a good understanding of property law and conveyancing processes. Excellent communication, attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and an interest in the property market are essential. A friendly, team-oriented, and professional attitude is also important.
