Nockolds Solicitors are a progressive, award winning, leading regional Law Firm with offices in Bishop’s Stortford and London and we are now looking to recruit a Legal Accounts Assistant to join our team in Bishop’s Stortford.
Successful candidates must be proactive, confident, have excellent people skills and be good with numbers. You must have GCSE Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths and good IT skills. An attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines are essential. This position would ideally suit someone with 1 or 2 years’ office experience and an accounts background would be advantageous.
You will be dealing with client, office and nominal ledger transactions, checking and posting bills, daily banking, bank reconciliations, assisting with credit control, liaising with fee-earners and clients to resolve issues and providing general support to the accounts team. Full on-the-job training will be provided.
