We’re seeking a motivated and enthusiastic CASS Analyst to join our Operational Finance team. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day CASS oversight, governance, and compliance, ensuring robust CASS systems and controls across the business. Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting operational CASS activities and control systems
2. Managing CASS-related queries and departmental mailbox
3. Identifying opportunities to enhance controls
4. Reviewing breaches for control weaknesses
5. Maintaining policies and documentation
6. Drafting CASS reports for management
7. Participating in projects and providing CASS advice
8. Validating FCA CMAR reports
9. Ensuring accurate client money acknowledgements
10. Maintaining CASS resolution packs
11. Promoting continuous improvement in CASS culture
12. Supporting third-party CASS activities (e.g., FNZ)
About you:
You are thorough, diligent, proactive, and take ownership of your work. You’re analytical, inquisitive, eager to learn, and understand basic CASS and SYSC rules. You thrive in a collaborative environment where you’re empowered but supported.
Essential skills and qualifications:
* Basic CASS knowledge
* Ability to prioritize and deliver within tight deadlines
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Initiative and independence
* Studying or completed CISI IOC CASS module
* Understanding of SYSC rules
* Experience with platforms (desirable)
* Knowledge of trade settlement processes
* Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook
