Summary of position:
The Medical Sales Specialist reporting to the Sales Manager for UK & Ireland, will manage and maintain strong existing customer relationships while successfully creating and driving new sales opportunities within the UK medical and pharmaceutical industries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Growth of existing customers and development of new customers in the UK
2. Geographical area will be all of the UK (not N.I)
3. Ability to arrange own appointments and full management of area including updating CRM system on a daily basis
4. Develop go to market strategy which includes assisting with developing product specific sales literature; product line value propositions; and sales support programs and documents.
5. Function as the “go to expert” for product selection and applications expertise.
6. Attend UK trade shows and industry specific seminars potentially across Europe if required
7. Develop marketing strategy with marketing department
8. Research and analyze new business opportunities and applications in existing customers and the medical market as a whole.
9. Work with medical specialists at our head office in Germany
10. Frequent travel and overnight stays will be required to manage the area effectively
11. Software demonstrations both onsite and at our Xperience centre Worcester
12. Attending internal Training
Requirements:
13. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferably medical or engineering
14. Must have sold into the medical or Pharmaceutical market
15. Capital equipment or device sales experience with established networks
16. CRM experience (Microsoft Dynamics Preferably)
17. Consultative sales approach
18. Ability to present company and technical presentations

The successful candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work unsupervised and will need to be flexible. The candidate will report directly to the UK Sales Manager.
Following extensive product training in the UK and Germany the successful candidate will be responsible for sales of all ZwickRoell Group testing products and be accountable for the success of all sales opportunities with main focus on supporting the area.
The successful candidate can expect:
19. Competitive basic salary and uncapped commission on sales.
20. The successful candidate will be provided with a company vehicle/car allowance, company credit card, laptop, iPhone, pension (after 3 months) and the usual out-of-pocket expenses.
