To excel in a nursery or Early Years school environment, candidates should bring a strong mix of professional knowledge, emotional intelligence, and practical childcare skills. We are seeking practitioners who demonstrate:
Essential Requirements
* Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent early years certification)
* DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Previous experience supporting children aged 0–5 in a school, nursery, or childcare setting
* Ability to support children’s physical, emotional, and educational development
* Confidence working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff
* Willingness to follow safeguarding, health & safety, and school policies at all times

* Excellent communication skills with children, staff, and parents
* Creativity in planning or supporting engaging early years activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
