Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles, need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check. This role falls into the category of requiring a DBS check (standard)
About the role:
An opportunity has arisen for Full time Van Couriers to join the Courier team at our site near Watford. Although the role is based around our satellite Labs at Croxley, Harlow, Stevenage, and Watford, the successful applicant will be expected to travel to various locations within the UK when required.
The role involves collecting samples from clients and their safe and efficient delivery to the company premises, as well as the delivery of reports, supplies and other goods to clients.
The position will also involve carrying out duties in line with the 'Courier Procedures Manual’ and to ensure that communication procedures are operational during duties.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within the courier or healthcare field and at least 5 years driving experience.
You will also be required to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team..
Please note, you may be required to work weekends and bank holidays, also driving will take up a large part of your working day
