Delivery Driver/Customer Service Assistant – Hours: 35 per week, Salary: £12.80 per hour, Location: Stockport, HSL.

Role Overview
This is not your typical driving role. As a Delivery Driver/Customer Service Assistant you’ll work closely with one of our expert Comfort Specialists, driving them to and from customer appointments, supporting with demonstrations and ensuring that our vans and showroom are always safe, tidy and reflective of our premium brand. When not on appointments, you’ll help in‑store with general upkeep and customer service, becoming a key part of a small, supportive team.
Please note: This is a customer‑facing role and will require the successful completion of a DBS check.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive safely in line with the Highway Code, ensuring a clean and safe van.
- Load, unload, lift and carry heavy items such as demonstration chairs.
- Maintain van stock levels and report maintenance needs.
- Support the Comfort Specialist with demonstrations and appointment transport.
- Assist with in‑store general upkeep and light maintenance tasks.
- Undertake regular training to ensure the wellbeing of customers, colleagues and yourself, following health and safety guidelines.
- Offer a friendly face to customers and assist colleagues with day‑to‑day tasks.
Requirements
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Professional attitude, representing our premium brand at all times.
- Attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile.
- Local area knowledge and awareness of traffic issues or roadworks.
- Capability to safely load, unload, lift and carry heavy items.
- Ability to manage van stock levels and report maintenance needs.
