Fabrication Inspector Doncaster / Worksop – Permanent - £38.5K plus plenty of O/T - Monday to Friday 39 hours. Our client is keen to strengthen their fabrication team with an inspector. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a university graduate or an experienced quality inspector, a position could be made for both. As the Fabrication Inspector your responsibilities will be: First off to final release inspection of fabricated metal components, materials, welds, dimensions and finishes, to ensure all components meet agreed standards and customers’ requirements and are in line with the drawings and codes. Identify and record non-conformances and oversee resolutions, ensuring all documentation is generated and updated accurately and efficiently. You will assist with customer visits and carry out inspection visits to sub suppliers. Calibration and verification of all related equipment. Key skills and experience required: It is essential that applicants are able to read engineering drawings, specification etc. Accurately use measuring equipment – Tape measures etc. and Microsoft Office.
