About the role
If you are committed and highly motivated with an ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced, democratic organisation, then this role could be the one for you.
You will work within the Help and Support team and be one of the first points of contact for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide information and general help to students, manage room bookings, set up spaces, and handle a range of administrative tasks. The role is primarily desk-based, although you will need to be confident in approaching service users to offer help, with elements of moving around the building to assist users and ensure everything runs smoothly.
About you
The Help and Support team works together to ensure students love their time at Leeds by providing the right help and support when they need it most. This is an interesting and challenging role, where you will learn a wide variety of skills and gain invaluable experience. If you hope to work in management, the health or social care sector, the leisure and tourism industry, or if you’re simply looking for a part-time job that makes a difference, this could be a perfect fit for you.
What you get in return
The benefits include holiday pay, extensive learning and development opportunities, NUS TOTUM Card, onsite venue staff discounts, discounted travel card, and discounted gym membership.
The people and culture at LUU are often cited as top reasons why employees enjoy working here. You will be part of an organisation that values and champions inclusion and diversity. Learn more about our commitment to being an anti-racist organisation and how we support our diverse community.
