The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience
* Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that develop mathematical reasoning, problem-solving and analytical skills
* Inspire students to develop confidence and curiosity in mathematics
* Plan lessons that effectively support, challenge and stretch learners of all abilities
* Monitor student progress carefully and provide clear and constructive feedback
* Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE examinations and assessments
* Contribute to the continued development of the Mathematics curriculum and departmental resources
* Support enrichment opportunities such as Maths clubs, competitions or STEM activities
* Play a full role in the pastoral life of the school, including form tutoring where required

* Holds (or is working towards) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has a degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
* Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective teaching practice

* Is reflective and committed to ongoing professional development
