National Parks were designated in order to protect beautiful areas for the benefit of the nation. They came about as a result of the 1949 National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act, which put a legislative framework in place for the establishment of National Parks in England and Wales.
The Role
This is post which will support the Communications department of the Authority by acting as an assistant editor for the Authoritys websites and social media including the provision of Welsh and English language social media feeds. The post holder will also support the departments press and events work.
Key Responsibilities
1. To edit website texts in English and Welsh as required and to work with content managers to ensure that any changes made to the English are reflected in the Welsh sites.
2. To provide content for the Authoritys online presence, for example creatively using images, maps and digital routes to enhance and interpret webpages.
