Responsibilities
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Estimator / Contracts Manager located in Great Dunmow. The Estimator / Contracts Manager will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, managing contracts, overseeing project timelines, liaising with clients and vendors, and ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget. The role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and project pricing
* Experience in contracts management, negotiation, and vendor coordination
* Strong project management skills, including timeline oversight and resource allocation
* Understanding of health and safety regulations and industry best practices
* Excellent communication, client relationship management, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work on-site and oversee project progress on multiple sites
* Experience in the painting or coatings industry, particularly with epoxy resin and floor preparation, is a strong advantage
* Proficient in relevant software and technology tools for project planning, estimating, and reporting
* Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to work sites as required
