Vehicle Paint Sprayer & Prepper / Weston-Super-Mare
1. SALARY: Up to £38,000 per annum, pending experience, plus performance-related bonus scheme.
2. HOURS: 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Our client, an automotive vehicle accident repair group with centres nationwide, is currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Paint Sprayer and/or Prepper to join their busy centre in Weston-super-Mare.
Reporting to the Bodyshop Manager and working as part of a team, as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer, your key objectives will include:
4. Fulfil all tasks to the customer’s complete satisfaction.
5. Complete the assigned jobs within the estimated paint times.
6. Safeguard the customer’s vehicle and its contents while in the Bodyshop.
7. Ensure that all vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to the customer.
8. Carry out repairs according to best practices and procedures.
9. Meet acceptable safety and quality standards.
10. Interpret and implement technical instruction data.
11. Use all paint mixing schemes, drying areas, and equipment accurately for all paint repairs.
12. Prep vehicles to a timely and high standard for painting
13. Seek clarification from the Automotive Bodyshop Manager if a work order is not clear or seems to be incorrect.
To be eligible for this position, you will need to be a fully qualified Vehicle Paint Sprayer to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent as a minimum, or failing this, will need to have a strong and stable time-served experience working as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer. You will need to hold a driving licence, be a committed individual and be a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of workmanship in a busy working environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. Personnel with experience working to PAS 125 standards or with an ATA accreditation would be highly advantageous, but it is not essential.
