Business Analyst – Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)

We’re working with a North West based organisation undergoing a series of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) improvement initiatives, and they’re looking to engage an experienced Business Analyst to support this work.
This role is primarily focused on D365 F&O, working closely with finance, operations, and delivery teams to identify gaps, define requirements, and drive tangible system improvements.
The Role
As the D365 F&O Business Analyst, you will:
Work across multiple D365 F&O optimisation and enhancement initiatives
Engage with finance and operational stakeholders to understand current processes and pain points
Translate business requirements into clear functional documentation for delivery teams
Support system improvements across core F&O modules (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Operations)
Facilitate workshops, process mapping, and gap analysis sessions
Act as a bridge between business users, technical teams, and external partners
Support testing, change impact assessment, and adoption activities where requiredKey Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on D365 Finance & Operations
Strong understanding of finance and operational processes within ERP environments
Experience delivering D365 F&O improvements, enhancements, or transformations
Confident stakeholder management skills across finance, operations, and IT
Ability to produce high-quality documentation (process flows, requirements, user stories)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-driven environmentNice to Have
Experience working in complex or multi-entity environments
Previous involvement in D365 F&O upgrades or post-implementation optimisation
Exposure to integrations, reporting, or data-heavy workstreams
