We have a vacancy for Matrons' Assistant to work in our boarding houses. We are looking to cover Thursday 9:00am-2:00pm and Friday 9:00am-2:00pm, during term time.
The successful candidate will join a team headed by two resident House Parents, House Tutors, Resident Matrons and existing Matrons' Assistants to help look after approximately 90 pupils within the boarding house. Duties include the sorting, checking and repairing of pupils' clothes and laundry; assisting the on-duty Matron with pastoral care duties and administering medication under supervision (for which training will be provided).
Sensitivity, good organisational skills, flexibility and the ability to work with others are essential to carry out this role, as is being able to sew and use a sewing machine.
