Job Title: Stock Administrator
Location: Telford
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary ongoing
Shift: 12 hour days - 4 on 4 off - 6am - 6pm
About the Role:
We are currently seeking reliable Stock Administrator to join our client's team.
Key Responsibilities as a Stock Administrator:
* Maintain accurate stock records in inventory management systems
* Monitor incoming and outgoing stock to ensure correct quantities and documentation
* Perform regular stock checks and assist with stocktaking activities
* Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and report any variances
* Liaise with warehouse staff, suppliers, and other departments regarding stock availability and movements
* Generate reports on stock levels, usage, and trends as needed
* Support the purchasing team with stock level forecasts and replenishment needs
* Ensure stock is stored in the correct location and labelled properly
* Follow company procedures for stock handling, returns, and damage reporting
* Maintain compliance with health and safety and company standards in all stock-related processes
Requirements as a Stock Administrator:
* A very clear-thinking, logical and disciplined approach to work;
* Extreme levels of accuracy and attention to detail;
* Good IT skills, including working knowledge of spreadsheets;
* Problem-solving; tenacity in pursuing answers;
* Some stock control experience would be very useful, although not essential;
* Effective communicator.
